Not really. /D I've been listening to Namie Amuro's Best Fiction album lately (mixed with like Crystal Kay and the one SHINee track I have, lol) and her songs are catchy in a non-catchy way. idk. I like them. :D

Went out today to get notebooks and got September Duet and October Myojo too(they didn't have October Duet or September Myojo ;___;). September Duet - Yamapi's moobs are larger than my boobs. I don't know whether to laugh or be jealous. :C Also, jesus christ Takaki's toenails. And fingernails. They're pimping. (Channeling Kame now, are we? /D) [livejournal.com profile] atenishinai, I got the green tea and orange cake so I'll start on those soon. :3 ...you said green tea and orange, right? If not, too bad, because everything else was either bread, chocolate or the cookie one i gave to [livejournal.com profile] itskeitodesu. /D But seriously, there were like five million boxes of the cookie one idgi is it super popular or something?

Reading porny akame doujin (porny is the best kind, especially if you only know 15% of what they're saying!) while eating ramune candies and listening to namie amuro. Life is so damn good right now. :D YES THIS IS MY IDEA OF A GOOD AFTERNOON. >_____>;;

47% done... Ah, voting for [livejournal.com profile] jent_ic went up, so if you could take the time to vote I'd be really happy! :D

And what the hell, how did I get shorter?!
Oh, and school starts tomorrow...

Namie Amuro's got some pipes, but I really only love her stuff from 2002 on. I like her earlier stuff, but not as much. XD;;

I just randomly downloaded on a whim, so I have no idea if this is recent or not-recent - but I like it~ it feels like I've been listening to R&B-ish music lately, and I don't think I mind at all.

anything on the BEST FICTION album is just a compilation of her stuff from 2002 on. :D

albums in this era: STYLE, Queen of Hip-Pop, and PLAY.
singles: basically the singles for these albums

Sounds like a good afternoon to me. :D Though the fact that you have somewhere nearby that sells Japanese magazines makes me jealous. ;o;

Have fun at school! :Db

It was lovely~ :D They're marked up like 350%, which kind of sucks - I think I might get a revolving subscription to Myojo because it's more expensive here than online, and just get Duet and Wink-up instead because I love the KAT-TUN measurements page in Wink-up something awful. ;;;

Myojo subscription sounds nice~ I wanted a subscription of KERA except it's way more expensive than the magazines with JE boys in them. ffffff but the clothes are so cute.

It will be, hopefully! fffft JE eats your money more than one would imagine. :C Is it really? The lone issue of Kera I have because they didn't have gosurori in stock at the time only cost me $10, iirc. I loved looking through it though! *o* I love Japanese fashion magazines, but ngl the Gothic Lolita & Punk mooks are my absolute favourites - too bad they're so expensive. :C

There aren't any stores around me that sell Japanese magazine subscriptions, so online was the best I could find: nearly 200 dollars for a year's subscription of KERA. Japanese fashion magazines are among my favorite things to look at. Ngh, I cannot wait until I make enough money to buy these sorts of things willy-nilly and my parents can't complain about it.

The site I go to has Kera listed for $179 a year, or 7.50 + shipping for a revolving subscription. o; None of the stores offer subscriptions here either, so I go to the comic stores nearby for lolita stuff or to a store in the asian mall for JE or Vivi or NON-NO or Pinky or Zipper or whatever else that's "normal" fashion. /D;; I don't see Asian Seventeen around much, the one issue I have I bought at a convention...

j-box? That's where I saw it. The only place that sells Asian fashion magazines is Mitsuwa, which I've never been to. /D I really want to go, except I haven't the time to these days. I got my Popolo at Acen, so yeah. When we go to New York in the spring for choir, I wonder if I'll be able to go into Kinokuniya...

Yeah, j-box. man, I remember when they had porny ads in Anime Insider...those were the days (not really). I know where to get Chinese fashion magazines more easily, but they're nowhere near as awesome. /D;; I only have one issue of Popolo, and my friend got me it from Japan - idk, I just find it a bit more cumbersome than even Myojo. I consider a good month a month where I have Duet, Myojo, Wink-up and Potato, but i normally just get Duet and Myojo if I can. ;;;

I've never seen a Kinokuniya either. D: lmao, what I get for living in Canada. ;;; For some reason I imagine it to seem kind of like the Mandarake I went to in Japan...

Yeah, Popolo is pretty big compared to most magazines. fffff I can't wait until I can drive so I can go to Mitsuwa on my own.

Kinokuniya had a booth at Acen. The fact that they don't have any stores in Chicago saddens me greatly. Chinatown makes up for it because they sometimes have drama sets. Which my parents won't let me buy. /D;;

yeah, it barely fits on my shelf... D: I think it's around the same size as Newtype USA, maybe? I like the page quality, though. <3 I get the feeling I'll be pretty bad at driving, and the way things are going for me now I'll learn how to fly a glider plane before I learn how to drive a car XD

o; All we have at our cons are your typical comic store; tons of manga and anime DVDs and maybe some Gothic & Lolita bibles, maybe some doujin, figurines, etc. Stuff like that D: (never good doujin, either, really ;___;)

I'm too cheap to even buy bootleg drama sets /D I run Asian Film Club at my school, but even though like everything of what I show is supposed to be legal most of it really isn't XD

AHAHAHA sorry about that ;;; I'll try and do better in the future~ ...or just get a more recognizeable cake. do chocolates sound better? :3

nnnrgh I deposited a lot of money in the bank because my parents told me I had to so I barely had enough for the duet & myojo. this is gonna mess up my collection. ;____;
