why all white though? what's the rest of the costume? :)
(wow, seems like a lot of work, I only sew few of my clothes and since I'm, urgh, terribly clumsy, it was always almost a matter of bare survival; I still occasionaly wake up with a scream in the middle of a night with the image of sewing machine chasing me vivid in front of my eyes)
'cause after the whole dress is done I'm going at it with a water gun full of fake blood. XD fun will be had!
(eight meters of ruffles oh my god I didn't think it would take that much ;A; my sewing machine is glaring at my angrily and giving me tiny stitches instead of nice ones ;___;)
reminds me of last Zombiewalk, when I couldn't get my hands on fake blood no matter what. Zombies are fierce creatures, so even all stores I went to were out of red food dye -_- so I had to use more... alternative means of creating fake blood. I believe I must have been smelled first before seen >_< I raided kitchen for anything even remotely similar to blood in color and it was. utterly. disgusting. And sticky. Eeew.
(lol, you can always say it was on purpose, come on, it's Halloween! makes me wish it was celebrated here as well, in this forsaken land..)
that reminds me~, we have a zombiewalk coming up soon here...idk if I'll go though /D I've heard of blood being done with thinned out acrylic paint too? :3 I'm cheap so I'll probably do that...

I think the cheapest way to create fake blood is food dye (red, bit of purple/brown/black/whatever) + water + starch. But it doesn't come off of skin easily. Don't know about the acrylic paint, but I certainly wouldn't do it (since it would just kill my skin as many other things do).
well, we don't know what we're missing, since we never had one to begin with :P except that I DO, because I experienced one in Canada and it was awesome and great and perfect and I really wish I could experience another one D: oh lol, growing up is hard, all those parties to attend... XD
