I think the cheapest way to create fake blood is food dye (red, bit of purple/brown/black/whatever) + water + starch. But it doesn't come off of skin easily. Don't know about the acrylic paint, but I certainly wouldn't do it (since it would just kill my skin as many other things do).
well, we don't know what we're missing, since we never had one to begin with :P except that I DO, because I experienced one in Canada and it was awesome and great and perfect and I really wish I could experience another one D: oh lol, growing up is hard, all those parties to attend... XD
